报告人:Prof. Tom Page
Tom Page, Ph.D, M.Phil, B.Sc (Hons), C.Eng MIET, MIEEE, SFHEA.
He is a Professor in Electronic Product Design, Nottingham Trent University.
As an internationally recognized researcher, Tom has widely published in the fields of Technology and Design Education and has secured funding to support developments in these areas.
He has successfully supervised fifteen PhD students and managed the work of seven post-doctoral researchers. More recently, Tom worked with colleagues at the University of Aarhus in Denmark on disseminating findings from a European research project that repurposed public libraries as creative-making spaces.
His research and outputs may broadly be classified as: Electronic Product Design; Design Education; Virtual Prototyping; Machine Design; and Design Methods. Tom has been successful in attracting research funding from a number of sources including the research councils in the United Kingdom and Europe.
